If you’re not from Toronto, you might not know what Buddies in Bad Times is.  Buddies was founded in 1978 as a professional theatre company dedicated to the promotion of queer theatrical expression.  Not only restricted to queer theatre and presentations, Buddies is an alternative venue to the mainstream here in Toronto.

Last night, Buddies was the venue for Xtra! magazine’s 25th anniversary party.  An open bar, good company and The Cliks who performed their latest hit Dirty King.  And with my man by man side what could be better?
